We are seeking a highly skilled Robotics Computer Vision Engineer to join our team. This is a remote role requiring a 6-day work week.

Responsibilities:
 

  • Develop and Maintain Vision-Based Software: Design, implement, and maintain computer vision software systems for humanoid robots, focusing on real-time perception, object detection, scene understanding, and navigation.

  • Visual Perception Algorithms: Develop and optimize algorithms for visual perception, enabling robots to identify objects, navigate complex environments, and interact with their surroundings accurately.

  • Algorithm Tuning and Debugging: Build tools for efficient tuning and debugging of vision-based algorithms, ensuring performance in both simulated environments and real-world hardware.

  • Third-Party Integration: Facilitate the integration of third-party computer vision libraries and frameworks into the robotic control stack, ensuring smooth operation and compatibility with existing systems.

Requirements:
 

  • Proficiency in Programming: Advanced programming skills in C++ and Python, with experience in applying these languages to real-time robotic systems.

  • AI and Machine Learning: Experience with AI and machine learning frameworks (e.g., TensorFlow, PyTorch) and their application in robotics.

  • Robotics Hardware Knowledge: Familiarity with robotic hardware components, including sensors, actuators, and embedded systems, and their integration into vision-based robotic solutions.
